  • New cars – can allways finance it (pay for it monthly, some used cars you cant do that)
-Dont have to worry bout it breaking down
    -has a warranty
    -looks way better
-insurance will be better (because it wont be breaking down as much as a used one)

Used cars- Not allways have the choice of financing
    -could break down without knowing
-usually has no warranty, if so, little
-parts will start to fall off easier
-depending on car, insurance can be expensive
-Used car salesmen are taught and trained to lie so that you buy the car thinking nothing is wrong with it until the next day stuff starts breaking. (Use craigslist to buy a used car not a dealership for this reason)

In conclusion: If your looking for good insurance – NEW
If your looking for a nice fresh look – NEW
If your looking for a good price – USED
If your looking for a reliable car – NEW or craigslist used
If your looking for a Warranty – NEW
If your looking for financing – NEW

I would get a new car but a low year like 2007 instead of the 2009′s or 10′s
    good luck finding a car!!!

Question Whats the difference between new and used cars?

  • Any new car becomes a “used” car as soon as its registered.
Some say as soon as the wheels hit the street the value goes down by thousands.
All the other costs you list also apply to new cars.
Any car requires regular maintenance. With a new car you know for a fact whats been done and when.
New car dealers will try to sell you an extended warranty. Used cars are also eligible for such warranties.
Neither kind is really cheap to buy but can save you a bundle. In either case haggle the price of the warranty just like the car itself. If buying new visit the service center of the dealership and size up how you can expect to be treated “after the sale”. try to get an appointment for service, see how the staff reacts to the customers. Its all sweetness till you fork over the cash.

Question Whats the difference between new and used cars?

  • If you buy a new car, you pay for repairs that aren’t under warranty.
    Or a deductible.
If you buy a used car, the repairs will depend on what’s wrong with it.
    So will how much.

  • One of the thing come with buying a new car is “warranty”. One of the most important thing before buying used car, should see the “History of that Used Car”.
